The Heineman Winery was founded in 1888 by Gustav Heineman, an immigrant from Baden-Baden, Germany, the grape growing region of that country.
A Put-in-Bay tradition since the 1990's. every Sunday afternoon island car owners gather at the old Twine Shanty on Langram Ave. Starts around 2:00PM and tours the entire island.
With over 50 different types of exotic butterflies from all over the world, the Butterfly House is the place to be.
